Salle traveled through the Mississippi Valley. He had taken two exploration routes, one in 1678-1682 and another in 1684-1687. His first voyage ended when they finally reached land. They had reached Houston, Texas.His second voyage went up the Mississippi River and through the Great Lakes. He had a four-year voyage all together. Which was the longer than the rest of them.
